4. Other Charges


    A. Storage Charges (after the merchandise has cleared federal inspection requirements). Containers and Loose Cargo shipments will be stored free for 5 working days or 2 working days following notification of release, whichever occurs first. Thereafter, the following daily storage charges apply:

 20' Containers  $ 30.00 per day
 40' Containers  $ 40.00 per day

  B.Storage for shipment on government "hold"

In container in yard:
 20' Containers  $ 30.00 per day*
 40' Containers  $ 40.00 per day*
On floor in warehouse $ .15 per Cubic Foot
*Plus applicable steamship line charges 

    C. Cartage charges

Pick up from carrier and transfer to CES:*
  Oakland to Alameda  $ 135.00 one way
 San Francisco to Alameda  $ 150.00 one way

*For special U.S. Customs pick ups add $ 50.00 to above rates

Return to carrier of CES:
  Alameda to Oakland  $135.00 one way
 Alameda to San Francisco  $ 150.00 one way
   
     D. Steamship line availability or release fee.
This fee may apply to all seized or general order cargo released at the CES because the carrier will not accept the container back at the yard:

    E. Multiple agency examination fees ( more than one agency requires an exam on the shipment):

$ 50.00 per agency exam

    F. Refrigerated container service and storage.

 Plugged-in container storage $ 50.00 per day
 Gen-set container charges $ 40.00 per day plus 20% fuel surcharge
   
    G. Recovering Cargo

 Labor  $ 50.00 per hour per man
 Material  Cost plus 20%

     H. Overtime charges apply in the event work is performed after normal business hours.

 After hours  1 1/2 times regular rate per hour per man
 Week-ends/ Holidays  2 times regular rate per hour per man
   
    
I. Other charges not described above.

 Equipment Interchange  $ 35.00 per container


Forklift Fees:
 1 to 3 pallets  $ 40.00
 4 to 9 pallets  $ 65.00
 10 to 15 pallets  $ 90.00
 16 to 29 pallets  $ 140.00
 Full trailer load  $ 200.00
* Above apply to back or tailgate of trucks.

 Loading into truck above rates plus $ 50.00
  
Off dock loading:
 0-5,000 lbs  double above rates
 Cargo over 10,000 lbs
 requires special arrangements
 Segregations  $ 50.00 per hour per man
 Security Facility Fee  $ 100.00 per container
 Advancing Charges  Cost plus 15%
 Fuel Surcharge/Drayage  Cost plus 20%
 

 
FORKLIFT FEES

Forklift fees are only to bring cargo to the back of a truck. Loading has separate fees outlined in schedule below.

ANYTHING OVER 30 CUBIC METERS WILL BE CONSIDERED A TRUCKLOAD AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO A $225.00 FEE.

PALLETS ARE $10.00 EACH, OR GOOD FOUR WAY PALLET EXCHANGE.

 1 to 3 PALLETS  $ 35.00  1 to 3 CUBIC METERS
 4 to 7 PALLETS  $ 55.00  3 to 7 CUBIC METERS
 8 to 10 PALLETS  $ 75.00  8 to 10 CUBIC METERS
 11 to 15 PALLETS  $ 105.00  11 to 15 CUBIC METERS
 16 to 20 PALLETS  $ 135.00  16 to 20 CUBIC METERS
 21 to 25 PALLETS  $ 165.00  21 to 25 CUBIC METERS
 25 to 30 PALLETS  $ 185.00  25 to 30 CUBIC METERS
  
Crates, oddball cargo, heavy and unstackable cargo will be charged either per cube or on a weight basis. Weight is defined as 1 cube of 1000 lbs.

  Up to 5 pallets  Add $25.00
  6 to 10 pallets  Add $50.00
  11 to 16 pallets  Add $75.00
  16 to 25 pallets  Add $125.00
 

 
PLEASE NOTE

1. These charges are only on a per shipments basis. Shipments may not be combined.

2. Truckers picking up loose cargo should have their own pallet jacks to load their cargo.

3. We load cargo as high as it is safe to double stack by state and federal regulations
